Coast Kitesurfing is the only kitesurfing school and shop providing
lessons in Bournemouth and Poole. Our tuition is designed to cater for
your specific needs once the basics have been achieved. We are based at
our shop in Boscombe, Bournemouth next to the UK’s only artificial surf
reef.
 Hi there,
My name is Mark, owner and coach at South Coast Kitesurfing Ltd. I’m an
experienced IKO level 2 kitesurfing coach, I’ve been training kite
surfers from all backgrounds on and off the water for the past seven
years. Our head coach Karl was the first ever kitesurf instructor in
Poole Harbour.
South Coast Kitesurfing, formed in 2001 was to be the first and only
dedicated kitesurfing school in Bournemouth and Poole Harbour. The
popularity of our school has grown to a level where we now employ the
best instructors to cater from the serious kitesurfing student to guys
and girls that just want to come and have a great day out.
South Coast Kitesurfing a dedicated all year round school that operates
seven days a week 12 months a year, we cater for everybody that would
like to experience kitesurfing from all over the UK and Europe. Some
schools have soggy, sandy wetsuits thrown in the back of a van. We
ensure that all of our school kit is clean, dry and ready to use.
Students can use our changing facilities and have hot drinks before and
after the course.
We are the only school that uses different locations depending on the
weather and the experience of the student.
To try kitesurfing no previous experience of board sports or water
sports is required, whatever your level we will take you through a
comprehensively laid out course which complies with the IKO standards.
However we insist on the learning curve being a fun experience for
everyone, this is not boot camp!
If you already have your own kit we can evaluate your abilities and
safely help you progress to the next level. Or if you are an experienced
rider who wishes to make your first big jumps we have a program for you. |
