Avon Beach
Avon Beach is situated in Christchurch, nr Bournemouth, UK. It overlook
the Needles and the Isle of Wight. The views are stunning whether it is
sunny and bright and when the wind is comes up creating a pretty good
swell.
The
beach is approximately 1/4 mile long and is a mixture of mainly sand
with some stone.
From Christchurch, take the A 35 out of Christchurch, heading towards
Highcliffe. Cross straight over the first roundabout carrying along the
Christchurch bypass. By Sainsbury's cross straight over the second
roundabout into Highcliffe Road B337.
At the 3rd roundabout go right
into The Runway, this road changes into Bure Lane. About half a mile you
come to a sharp bend that goes round to the right. Turn Left before
turning this corner. At the end of the road you will find our car park.
The brown tourist sand castle signs will also direct you to the beach.
